We are paid a fee, but only if our service or the referral results in a successful relationship resulting in a transaction. Typically, you would not owe anything to us at all on the buy-side (as the buyer/tenant). Even on the sell-side (seller/landlord), any fee would have to be mutually agreed to in advance.
